Patanjali In IPL Sponsorship Talks

Patanjali has confirmed that they are in talks with BCCI for sponsoring IPL 2020.

It is interesting to observe if BCCI accepts Patanjali as their title sponsors this year, because as per branding experts, the IPL will have little to gain from a branding perspective, certainly lesser than Patanjali.

One has to hand it to Patanjali for their ambitious zeal, since their image certainly took a hit with the corona-virus cure debacle, where their product claims earned much criticism as well as a fine from the courts.

Course correction is the need of the hour for the company and an IPL sponsorship may just be the cure they need.
